A steel mill rolls standard shapes and ships them to fabricators. It doesn't cut your project to length or weld the connections. SpanCorr works the same way. We make a product: high-performance beams in stock lengths (30 to 65 ft in 5 ft increments). Early on, our team helps the engineer design SpanCorr into the project. Then we manufacture the beams and ship them to the fabricator, who handles the cutting, fabrication, and connections on the job.
Green stages are where SpanCorr is hands-on.
The engineer designs the structure. We educate and support the EOR so SpanCorr beams are specified for maximum value.
SpanCorr supportsWe manufacture the beams in stock lengths (30 to 65 ft in 5 ft increments) on SpanCorr's own machines, the way a mill produces stock steel.
SpanCorr makes itThe fabricator on the job cuts the beams to length, fabricates the structural steel, and makes the connections.
Handled by the fabricatorThe finished structural steel is delivered and erected on site, completing the build.
Handled on siteBefore anything is built, our team helps the Engineer of Record understand SpanCorr beams and design them in for maximum value: longer spans, less steel, and lower cost. This is support, not engineering services: the design stays with the EOR.
Once the design calls for SpanCorr, we manufacture the beams in stock lengths (30 to 65 ft in 5 ft increments) and ship them to the fabricator on the job, the same way a mill supplies stock steel. From there, the fabricator takes it the rest of the way.
